in the vast sea of hearts,

i would always keep it anchored to 

your heart.
and no matter if i sailed  too far ,
 or wondered too long,
it will always find its way
to yours.

someone told me,

let your love go,

if it returns it is yours forever,

if it doesn't ,

it wasn't yours to begin with,

but no matter

you return or not,

you be mine or not

 i'll be yours forever. 

is it you, am in love with,

or is it just memories of your love,

that am in love with,

the way you would look into my eyes,

hold me,

kiss me,

the way you would make me feel ,

like am the most special person in your life,

am i still just in love with these memories,

or

is it you,

am i still in love with the hope .....

with the wish that you'll one day

again make me feel all of these.

you say that you love me,

but i see you checking out other girls in the block,

you say that you love me,

but i hear you make wild promises to other girls,

you say that you love me,

but all i see is memories of your past loves. 

The Love is the same,

but 

the Lovers change,

The touch is the same,

but

the warmth has changed.

 

The voice is still the same

but

the love has changed.

your touch felt unknown and strange,

your embrace did not have the warmth it used to have ,

maybe it has been too long,

too long since i felt you,

too long since i left you,

maybe someone else has taken that place now.

i wished that you held my hand for once and make me feel the same way,

make my heart tickle,

make my lips smile,

without any reason or rhyme,

i wished that you took me in your arms again,

and hold me tight,

hold me close to you, 

so close that we would be one,

and never be two again. 

But all i could do was just stand there,

wishing,

hoping,

all these could be true,

as i saw you leave with someone else.
