ohk my first 'fashion blog' has got to be bout my fav designer....Alexander Mcqueen or lee McQueen...
well its vivenwest wood actually but Mcqueen stand equal for me :)
his creation are a pleasure to watch....esp for those interested in the art aspect of fashion:)
what first caught my eyes was the amazing tailoring his fit....such great designs with the amazing tailoring and such gr8t look thanx to his apprenticeship with Savile Row tailors Anderson & Sheppard
i and one of my friends alwys wanted to attend atlst 1 of his shw durin our lifetym...
or own 1 of his item.....and the armadillo shoe seemed the apt item to own...
maybe someday soon we mid..:)
lol...v woudnt mid takin a loan either...heheh..:):)
there here humor lossly flying in the air bout his connection to demonic worship round the l8r part of his lyf...bt i choose to ignore it coz there isnt any hard evidence :)
atlest to enough to convince me :)
I find this to be his most amazing work. Though this again has been linked to demonic worship stuff...referring to the shape of the shoe to the hood of a goat ,symbol of the pagan lord.
his A/W08-09 collection was also based on the witch theme..
but keep all these statements....cant be called fact due to lack of evidence as side...
and just keeping the man his work in mind...it think he has achieved amazing heights in the fashion and art history that on one else could..
his show were the perfect combination for art and entertainment and fashion
even the one not interested in fashion could enjoy his show
i wonder what inspired him to create .
what ever it is am sure no1 will find out or get inspired in the same way.
this amazingly talented man was always hidden behind simple guy next door with his close set of friends for whom he was always round and were his support system maybe as 1 by 1 he started loosing them he started to loose his interest in Life
the death of his mother was the greatest blow i guess
i remember reading his tweet after his mother passed away it seemd his whole world has shattered and he sounded like that was the end of his want to live.
hmmm.....
some of his work which will always amaze us:)
the car robot painting on a plain cotton dress
McQueen in action:)
hope you enjoyed:)!!:)
